Don’t Shoot the Messenger is a student project I served as Producer on in 2023. It’s definitely not the project I’m most proud of, but it was a really interesting experience I learned alot from. I found the concept really interesting and the cast and crew were all fantastic and very passionate. It was my first go in a production role and I had much to figure out. Acquiring the office location especially I remember being really daunting, reaching out to a real company as a student filmmaker asking to use their space for our silly little student film. They were really receptive however, and let us use their space for free. It opened my eyes to how enthusiastic and willing people are to help if you can get them excited about what you’re making.
